Study posters
HOW DO I ORDER?
Pick your posters on the Study Posters page and send the order form. You'll get an email with the total including shipping and a secure payment link — posters ship once it's paid.
WHAT SIZE ARE THEY?
DIN A2 landscape: 594 × 420 mm, about 23.4 × 16.5 in.
WHAT DOES SHIPPING COST?
About $8–9 per order, added to your total.

CAN I BUY A PIECE FROM THE PHOTOS?
The builds shown are past projects. Every piece is one of one, made from the parts I can find — tell me what you'd like and I'll look for the right material.
HOW LONG DOES A CUSTOM BUILD TAKE?
It depends on the piece and on finding the right part. You'll get an estimate together with the price.

HOW DO I GET ONE?
Each case is built by hand to order, and production takes about 3–5 months. Register your interest and I'll come back to you with price and a build slot.
IS IT WATERTIGHT?
Nope — this ain't a boat. But you shouldn't have a problem anywhere from one foot to 35,000 feet above mean sea level.
DOES THE INSIDE HAVE A LINING?
No. What you see is what you get. That saves weight, and it means security staff don't start peeling it off to understand the electrics.
WILL I GET THROUGH THE SECURITY CHECK?
Well, we've made our own experiences. No, we have not been arrested. Yes, we once shut down an entire terminal at a major airport — it turns out answering "did you build this yourself?" honestly isn't only met with admiration. In the end the bomb squad was satisfied with what they saw, and they really liked the Taildragger.
Before the case goes through the scanner, make sure:
- the battery is detached and goes through separately, next to your laptop, tablet or phone;
- the lid is detached and goes through separately — your headphones, pens and cables are exciting enough for the person at the monitor;
- sweaters, jackets and other organic materials stay out of the Taildragger.
CAN I TAKE THE BATTERY ON BOARD?
The 99.2 Wh battery is just under the common 100 Wh limit for batteries in the cabin. Rules differ between airlines and countries, so check with yours before you fly.
WILL IT FIT UNDER THE SEAT?
It was designed around the space under a standard economy seat. Seat and under-seat sizes vary by aircraft and airline, so check your airline's personal-item dimensions.
